Created in 1999 Green with Envy Productions is the brainchild of Kelly Aija Zemnickis, a Toronto-based writer and producer. Some quick, fun facts about KAZ:
As a playwright, KAZ has penned How Does a Drug Deal Become a Decent 3rd Date? which was first performed at the 2008 Minnesota Fringe, and it was also a selection for the 2008 Hamilton Fringe Festival. In February 2009 it made its Off-Off Broadway debut as part of the 2009 Frigid NY Festival. In June 2009 it completed a year of touring at the St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival, where it was one of the Montreal Gazette's selections for the "Top 10 Shows of the Fringe". Her 2nd play that's how it started, this is how it ends... made its debut at the 2010 Minnesota Fringe Festival where it played to rave reviews. (It was also a selection for the 2011 St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival.) Green with Envy Productions is pleased to announce it will be making its Winnipeg Fringe debut at this year's festival with Baggage. in July. Click on the logo for more info: As a producer, she co-created the long running sketch/improv show Inside the Out-of-Work Actors Studio, and the theatrical improv show Off Book. She has produced a number of Fringe Festival productions, including The State of NY vs Peter Pan (along with Yet Another Law and Order Production). |
